The building offers a functional extension program of the current Health Center. Given the surface of the site and the functional program, based on the aforementioned and on the connection problems with the existing building, we proposed a “L form” building developed in two basic levels. On the ground floor is located the entrance area, the rehabilitation area, mental health (with the possibility of separated entrance) and support services, with its corresponding waiting rooms. The first floor is exclusively destined for radiology and outpatient services. The area of citizen services articulates around the building and controls both existing access.

The core of communication is proposed to be in the corner of the building. It is vital because it allows us, in the first floor, to have a bridge of communication between the existing building, solving clearly, directly and accurately the different connections and circulations between both buildings.
